Our team at Liberte Construction are highly trained roofing construction experts. We specialize in quality roof replacements that will last for decades to come. We understand that a roof installation is a major investment, which is why we always provide top quality workmanship and supplies. We are one of the few local Minnesota contractors who process claims 100% of the time year round, without traveling to other markets. What does this mean? It means we’ve been operating under the same name for over 10 years.
Besides being trustworthy and dependable, we have also achieved IKO’s highest accreditation, “Craftsman Premier”. There are only three businesses in Minnesota with that illustrious accreditation, and we’re one of them! We take advantage of the fact that IKO is the biggest shingle manufacturer in the world by being the largest purchaser of their products in Minnesota. So what does that mean for our customers? It means we can write IKOs warranty, a Lifetime no-out-of-pocket guarantee.
Besides having achieved IKO’s Craftsman Premier accreditation, we are also certified with every other manufacturer in the state. So if you like Owens Corning, Certainteed, GAF, Atlas, or Malarkey, we can write their warranties too. So whether you want to improve the energy efficiency, resale value, visual appeal, or structural integrity of your home, Liberte Construction can help.
Installing a new roof is one of the most significant investments one can add to a structure. A quality roof is the only thing between you and the elements. When roofs are damaged, it’s easy for leaks to occur. This can lead to problems you can see, as well as those you can’t, such as mold inside your walls and even structural damage over time.
The Liberte Construction team can perform a thorough and detailed inspection and provide expert advice on the best way to address any issues that may be affecting your roof, such as missing shingles or leaks, visible sagging, damage to the roof's structure due to ice build-up and excess moisture in the attic. The workmanship we provide helps increase your home’s value, reduce your energy costs, and protect your family’s well-being.
On Day 1 of your project, all required roofing products you've chosen are delivered to a designated location on site, along with a dumpster to contain waste material from your existing roof.
Tarps and other protective devices are placed over plants and sensitive areas of your property and home. Once the property is fully protected, our team starts removing the existing roof material.
Upon the complete removal of the existing roof materials, our team carefully inspects your roof decking for any signs of rotting or defective installation. All damaged roof decking panels are replaced before work continues.
Ice and water barriers, as well as a fiberglass reinforced felt underlayment for superior moisture protection are then installed on the roof decking. During this process, vents and flashing are replaced. New drip edges around the roof's perimeter are also installed at this time.
The new shingles you've selected are installed by our team using techniques that go above and beyond local building codes to ensure high quality and reliability.
Our team conducts a meticulous cleaning of your property, including magnetic sweeps of your lawn, sweeping of all driveways and walkways and removal of all project debris.
Once the entire installation is finished, the Project Manager conducts a careful inspection of the entire project – from the ground to the ridge cap – to ensure it meets our strict standards and your satisfaction.
As part of the roof construction process, we will carefully install and/or replace flashing, vents or ice and water membranes as required.
A roof damage claim caused by a storm is quite often the only claim a homeowner will file on their home insurance policy. Our team at Liberte Construction has an excellent understanding of this process, and we can guide you through it quickly and easily while answering any questions you may have.
Each one of our roofs is backed by one of the best warranties in the business. We can guide through the various material warranties to provide you with all the information you may need.
